I'm trying to stay awake for the debate. It's only a bit after 8 pm and already my eyelids are feeling heavy!

So what did you guys think of the Palin/Biden thing?

I honestly believe that Palin is more dangerous to America's reputation and America than Bush EVER could be.

She's a liability. She should stick to making sandwiches for the hockey team.

Agreed (although the last sentence was a bit "harsh" and a bit sexist, perhaps?)...I did not like how informally she speaks, it is not presidential in the least. She didn't even answer the questions.

agreed, she'll be one step away from having the keys to starting world war 3, and we've already seen what she tries to do when people piss her off. Troopergate anyone?

I think not harsh. And perhaps it was a bit sexist, so I apologise for that - not helpful. I was really trying to get at the fact that she keeps going on and on and on about being this all American "hockey-mom", like it's some great qualification for one of the most important jobs on the planet.

HA! I would love to hear any of America's top politicians getting a grilling from John Humphrys or Jeremy Paxman -- they would probably melt into a puddle like the Wicked Witch of the West.

We can blame that on television and rolling 24/7 news!
